Welcome to Janet's blog - a place to stay updated on her status. Early Sunday morning on Sept. 30th, Janet had surgery to remove a kidney stone. A stent was placed, and the surgery was successful. However, the kidney stone had already caused a serious infection in Janet's body. Hours after the surgery, she went into septic shock and acute respiratory distress.

Surgery bumped to December 19th


Just wanted to let you all know that the surgery scheduler called Janet last week to let her know they would have to bump her hand surgery to December 19th.  Please continue to pray for Janet... she was emotionally and mentally ready to have the surgery Dec. 12th.  She was glad that she'd have some time to recuperate before Christmas.  Pushing the surgery out another week was definitely not what she wanted.  There is a possibility she could get in sooner if there is a cancellation of some sort.  Please just keep the Dickens in your prayers as they wrestle through this.
